Most neophyte bloggers dream of the day when brands start sending free clothes. But, there's at least one blogger who says this scenario (that we may have fantasized about extensively...) isn't all it's cracked up to be. Danielle Bernstein, the blogger behind WeWoreWhat, is interviewed at The Huffington Post, where she talks about the other side of fashion freebies. Namely, she highlights what to do when a PR company sends you something you'd never wear on a run to the grocery store, much less on your outfit blog.
Whether the item is ho-hum or heinous, Bernstein needs to find a way to tell PR companies that she won't be using the item. And, she needs to accomplish this without damaging the relationship. It's a delicate balance, for sure, but we commend Bernstein for being ethical enough to level with brands and politely turn down a gift that just doesn't fit. Click over to The Huffington Post for the full story. And, if any PR companies out there are looking for willing recipients, we'll take a Céline boot in size nine, thanks.
