Scarlett Johansson Makes Creepy Look Good In The New Under The Skin Trailer

One of the most befuddling films we saw at last year's Toronto International Film Festival was Jonathan Glazer's Under The Skin. It's a virtually wordless sci-fi thriller starring Scarlett Johansson as a predatory alien who lures wayward men on the streets of Glasgow for what they think is sex. What she actually does to them turns out to be something far more diabolical.
The film is a massive departure from Johansson's recent audience-friendly work, which proves that despite being one of the biggest movie stars in the world, with a laminated lifetime membership to the lucrative Marvel Universe, Johansson still enjoys a challenge. If that's the case, what better director to align herself with than with the elusive visionary Glazer, who hasn't made a movie since Birth, which was released nine years ago.

Here, he's captured some remarkable imagery, as the trailer below will attest. In fact, if you're not opposed to watching a film for its aesthetic achievements alone, then trust us when we say that Under The Skin will be unlike anything else you see this year. But, if a cohesive narrative that doesn't hurt your head is what you're looking for, you can see ScarJo in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which hits theaters on April 4. Until then, check out ScarJo as the most beautiful alien you ever did see below. (Deadline)
