British songstress Natalia Kills has been very open about her troubled past. So, it makes sense that she's pulled absolutely no punches for her brand new video. The clip is for the song "Trouble," off her eponymous sophomore studio album, and depicts the kind of debauchery usually reserved for a Martin Scorsese movie. There's steamy sex, rampant drug use, and a whole lot of violence. And, that's just within the first minute.
The video may be a case of art imitating life, as Kills has had her own history of violence. She has admitted to trying to burn her ex-boyfriend's house down while the two were still inside, an event that's reenacted in the video's fiery conclusion. Perhaps the video is a cathartic way for the 27-year-old singer to move beyond her trauma. Or, perhaps it's a case of twisted braggadocio. We'll let you be the judge.
