You may have noticed that the cronut craze is still in full swing. But, since their debut, they've been joined by the cragel. And, for the past month, we've been wondering what food would complete the triumvirate of the New York City hybrid-food scene. Enter: donarts. Yep — that's a beautiful blend of a doughnut and a tart. We don't know how it happened, because they seem like such different desserts. But, who are we to question this delectable gift?
The concoction is the brainchild of the bakers at the Green Radish. The vegan food truck will be officially launching the donart next month. So, get ready for the lines, 'cuz this doughnut-meets-tart is gonna be the next big thing in desserts. (Gothamist)
