So much for that rumor about Renée Zellweger joining Dancing With The Stars. The season 18 cast has been revealed, and while Zellweger is a no-show, there will be a few familiar faces on the dance floor. As for the others, well, isn't that what Google is for?
Our inner '90s-child selves are stoked to see Winnie Cooper — er, Wonder Years' Danica McKellar — and Candice Cameron Bure of Full House fame on the program. But, the season seriously has someone for every fan. Lando Calrissian himself, Billy Dee Williams, will be the season's oldest contestant at age 74, while comedian-cum-game-show-host Drew Carey is set to sashay against Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes.
A slew of athletes have gotten on this year's dance card, too. Fresh off a gold-medal win at the Winter Olympics, ice dancers Charlie White and Meryl Davis will be splitting up to facing off against each other sans skates (sounds messy, no?). Former NHL player/current Hilary Rhoda fiancé Sean Avery will also be busting a move. Other sports-section headline makers include Diana Nyad, the 64-year-old who swam from Cuba and Florida, and Paralympian Amy Purdy, who will be the first person to perform with prosthetic legs. Wowza.
For the teeny-bopper set, there's Nickelodeon star James Maslow and Aussie pop kid Cody Simpson. We can hear the shrieks already. Which star will you be stalking this season? And, no, Simpson's model girlfriend Gigi Hadid doesn't count — even if she is in the audience. (New York Daily News)
