Lorde Gets Witchy In A Brooding New Track

Lorde's latest song just might be her darkest. In it, the curly haired, Grammy-winning artist descends the depths of sound to take us on a journey through some mysterious, cavernous space curated by producer Son Lux.
"Easy (Switch Screens)" is the newest track off Son Lux's forthcoming Alternate Worlds EP. It finds Lorde in a speak-singing mood, brooding over a starkly minimal drum line. A deep synth hums in the background as she mulls over pulling out "the heart that keeps you from feeling hollow." How, um, pleasant.
We didn't think it was possible for Lorde to get any witchier, but she does. "Easy (Switch Screens" sounds like a seance meant for American Horror Story: Coven. It makes us want to don the latest Rick Owens and parade down the streets conjuring up spirits. Or, maybe just watch The Craft. Listen for yourself, It's a pick-your-own-poison kind of experience.
