Actress and ecological activist Jessica Alba graces the cover of the new issue of Redbook, and shares some humorous, possibly startling details about her personal life. For one thing, she doesn't understand parents who don't kiss their kids on the mouth. Her thoughts? "It’s your baby. People allow dogs to lick at their mouths.” (Hey, to each their own, we guess.) She likes to bond with other parents, and calls her Mommy and Me friends some of her "closest girlfriends." If only they could all enjoy a little privacy: "It’s weird when we’re doing normal mom things and there’s paparazzi around. That’s the only thing that makes everyone uncomfortable."
Alba also opens up about her marriage. Husband Cash Warren is obsessed with sports, and she complains that "there's always a game on." But, she fairly notes that Warren claims she's addicted to Instagram. We all have our vices! But, Alba's biggest addiction isn't social media but antiquing. "I bought my hot-pink desk off Craigslist. I have a problem," she confesses. "I love vintage furniture, and refurbishing is one of the most eco things you can do. I also got a couple of cool chairs and Danish midcentury credenzas off of Craigslist." Can't go wrong with the Scandi chic. (Redbook)
