Jay Z Turns Down Kanye’s Best-Man Offer, But For A Good Reason

You may have thought Kanye's proposal to Kim Kardashian was the big pop-the-question moment for the artist. But, there was another equally important conversation that Yeezy needed to have with Jay Z. The two are besties, so it only makes sense that Hova would stand up and be Kanye's best man on the big day. Except, Jay Z turned down the offer — and for a really good reason.

A source told Perez Hilton that Jay Z has refused the best-man title because of all the cameras. Kim K.'s life is already heavily documented on TV, and he simply doesn't want to televise the private moments of his wife, Queen B, and baby Blue Ivy. The source says, "Jay agreed initially but had one condition — under no circumstances can there be any reality TV shows filming him, his wife Beyoncé, or daughter Blue Ivy during the ceremony." Clearly, that's a promise Yeezy can't keep. It's a hard choice to turn down such a heartfelt offer like being someone's best man. As for their bromance, we're confident it will survive. (Perez Hilton)
