Save The Date! An Artistic Ball Worth The Bucks

The Met and the MoMA have their day in the sun, like, every single day. But, we're giving the Brooklyn Museum a full night of love. And, really, it deserves way more than that. The Prospect Heights-based art mecca has played host to some top-notch exhibitions, including the Gaultier show, the Wangechi Mutu show, and the War Photography show to name just a few. Plus, the permanent collection — including pieces housed in the Elizabeth A. Sackler Center for Feminist Art and the extensive Egyptian galleries — could rival that of any world-class museum.
Needless to say, we're excited to participate in this year's Brooklyn Artists Ball, an evening of food, art, and (hell yeah!) dancing. That's right, there's a raging after-party in the museum, so you can, you know, rub elbows with statues and industry insiders at the same time. This year's event, on Wednesday, April 16, will honor New York based artist Kehinde Wiley, conceptual artist Jenny Holzer, as well as contemporary artist Ai Weiwei. It will also (drumroll) celebrate the opening of Ai Weiwei: According to What?

Best of all, you've got the opportunity to support the arts and party down with us! Tickets are available here — you can buy at different levels, from the option to purchase a full table at the dinner (you baller, you!) or simply come for the raging after-party. And, with DJ sets by BRENMAR, 3-D edible art by the Flour Shop, and a performance by Le1f, ain't nothin' wrong with that. Ah, being a patron of the arts never felt so good.
