Are you torn between your allegiances to Game of Thrones and The Hunger Games? So many ensemble casts, so many subplots, so many dystopian realities to choose from — who has time for both?
Gwendoline Christie is about to help you get a bit of both at the same time. The 6-foot-3 star, who plays GoT's Brienne of Tarth, will join the cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2. She will replace American Horror Story's Lily Rabe, who reportedly had a scheduling conflict. (Rabe was recently cast in the upcoming ABC sci-fi show The Visitors.)
Christie will play Commander Lyme, a former Hunger Games winner and an instrumental part of the rebellion in District 2. She's also the second Throner to join the Games. Natalie Dormer, who plays Margaery Tyrell on Game of Thrones, will also appear in the upcoming Mockingjay as the rebel director Cressida. Now that's some media multi-tasking for you. (IGN)
