The Final X-Men: Days Of Future Past Trailer Is An Absolute Doozy

If you were confused about all the temporal flip-flopping that's been alluded to in the previous spots for this summer's eagerly awaited X-Men: Days of Future Past, the film's final trailer might help answer some questions. But, is that necessarily a good thing?
The Wolverine-centric trailer features Hugh Jackman's man-of-steel leaving a war-torn future at the behest of Patrick Stewart's Professor Xavier to travel back in time. His task: Unite nice mutants and mean mutants to prevent a Sentinel Armageddon before it happens. Think Terminator 2 with superheroes. Still confused? This trailer should help resolve that, but in our opinion, it may have shown a bit too much. What was once an admirably restrained marketing campaign has now jumped the shark with a trailer that verges on spoiler-y. What would have undoubtedly been some of the film's most thrilling moments are revealed here in rapid succession. A young Magneto's (Michael Fassbender) first encounter with a young Charles Xavier (James McAvoy) after the cataclysmic events of the last X-Men? Check. Wolverine telling a young, stand-offish Beast that in the future they're going to be pals? Double check. Old Professor X and new Professor X meeting face to face for the first time? Well, you get the idea.
Check out the third and final trailer for X-men: Days of Future Past below. At your own risk, of course.
