Hold up, Netflix friends...sh*t is about to get crazy in Litchfield. Orange Is The New Black's next season is going to be heavy on the drama, and even heavier on the danger. Just check out the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly.
First off, the cover. Besides wild eyes — even, say, Crazy Eyes — from all of the actresses, there's a giant knife front and center. Let's just say it's a hint of what's to come in the new episodes, and series creator Jenji Kohan gave an ominous tip to the magazine. "We had a theme for season two: a little darker, a little more fractured," she said. "We wanted to explore the groups one at a time. It was getting a little summer-campy, and we wanted to address the realities that this is prison."
For us viewers, EW reports that we'll get dark backstories on characters like Lorna and Taystee, and a scary new prisoner addition to Litchfield. You can get more deets by grabbing this week's issue of Entertainment Weekly, but we've also got a little sneak peek at the very first scene of season two.
