As one of our favorite actresses in Hollywood (and, oh yeah, People's recently-appointed Most Beautiful), it's safe to say we're anxious to hear about Lupita Nyong'o's next project. And, as it turns out, it's a great one.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nyong'o is in negotiations to star in a remake of The Jungle Book. Scarlett Johansson is also reportedly in talks to join the film as well. Two stunning actresses and a beloved Disney classic? Well, that just takes it to a whole new level.
THR says Nyong'o would play Rakcha, a wolf who adopts Mowgli, in the "live-action/CG hybrid movie." Johansson would voice the character of the python Kaa. If the speculation is true, you can start counting down the days now — the film already has a release date of October 9, 2015. (The Hollywood Reporter)
