The BB Lipstick That’s Actually Not A Gimmick

Just because naming a product with double letters has become a popular marketing ploy (lookin' at you, EE cream) doesn't mean said products should be written off entirely. Case in point: Bite Beauty's new BB For Lip collection. Sure, it's strategically titled, but it also truly fits the BB description of skin care combined with makeup.
The line of five shades smells (and kind of tastes) like lemon cookies, but that's not the only reason we're loving it. The lipsticks are infused with resveratrol, delivering a dollop of antioxidants. They're also super moisturizing — thanks to shea butter and essential oils — and are made with sumac wax to lock in that moisture. Finally, the shades contain an all-natural lipid specifically designed to help repair the surface of your lips. Talk about a hard-working little lippie.

The colors are vibrant but sheer, not unlike Fresh's Lip Treatments. In a range of hues from berry to clear, they have a luminous quality that gradually wears off into a pretty, subtle stain. All in all, these really are the BB creams of lipsticks: They look amazing, feel great, and keep working after the color has faded. Really, what more could anyone want?
Bite Beauty BB For Lips, $24, available at Sephora.
