This gives a whole new meaning to "family-friendly." Cersei and Jaime Lannister's incestuous relationship is one of the key plot points of HBO's Game of Thrones, but it's not the only one. When Theon Greyjoy, played by Alfie Allen, returns to the Iron Islands after many years, he meets a woman who turns out to be his sister. He only finds that out, however, after he cops a feel on her.
That scene might've been even more unsettling than it was, had HBO successfully cast Lily Allen, Alfie's actual sister, to play Yara Greyjoy. In a Reddit AMA yesterday, the singer explained that she turned down the role once she learned that she would have to get a little intimate with her younger brother. "...I felt uncomfortable because I would have had to go on a horse and he would have touched me up and shit," Allen wrote. "Once they told me what was entailed, I said no thanks."
That doesn't mean she would turn down another part on the series. "I would be open to doing a musical cameo like Sigur Rós, though," she said.
Oh, well. Not every show can follow in the footsteps of Arrested Development. (Reddit)
