Interstellar‘s Long-Awaited Trailer Is Here & Doesn’t Disappoint

The tarp over Christopher Nolan's ultra-mysterious new movie has finally been lifted. The trailer for Interstellar hit the web like a ton of bricks today. It's, in a word, thrilling.
We already knew that the film was a space odyssey starring Matthew McConaughey, but now we know that his mission is to save the human race from extinction. Earth has run out of food, and McConaughey's character must travel to outer space to find a brand-new place for us to live. In true Nolan fashion, the visuals look breathtaking, in particular the space-travel sequences, which look to have the Oscar for Best Special Effects locked up before the race even starts.

Nolan has become one of Hollywood's true event directors, and with this being his first effort since The Dark Knight Rises, it's safe to say that Interstellar has officially rocketed to the top of our must-see list.
When Nolan announced the casting of McConaughey way back when, the McConaissance was not yet underway, and many wondered if he was right for the lead in a film that is sure to be headier than your average blockbuster. Well, now McConaughey is an Oscar winner, and Nolan looks like an absolute genius. Joining him for the ride are Nolan regulars Anne Hathaway and Michael Caine, along with a star-studded cast that includes Jessica Chastain, Casey Affleck, and Wes Bentley.
November 7 can't get here fast enough.
