Nicki Minaj Vs. Kelly Rowland: A Red-Carpet Bra Showdown

Awards ceremonies don't always have to be a battlefield of "who wore it better?" comparisons. There's enough room on the red carpet for everyone. But, a little friendly competition sure has a way of spicing up the staid events. Enter: Kelly Rowland, Nicki Minaj, and the crop's slightly skimpier sister, the bra top, for a samesies style scenario.

Both songstresses bared serious skin at the Billboard Music Awards last night in all-black ensembles. And, the similarities didn't stop there, as the two also accented their sleek, daring cutouts and crops with Wonder Woman-worthy pairs of gold cuffs. They also both chose imposing, nearly shoulder-length earrings. However, even with all this matchiness, the stars' individual styles still shone through.

The former Destiny's Child member chose a lingerie-like, plunging top by Cushnie et Ochs and, to complement a neckline that dips way down low, a Fausto Puglisi skirt slit up to there. Nicki's Alexander McQueen number played up the strappy part of the bra-top dress. As in, several of them. In a push-up top, the hip-hop star traded in her statement-making beauty look for the daring sartorial move of allover bondage-like straps, a hint of underboob, and some major face.
