Famous ’80s Street Art Can Be Yours For Under $16

In time for the post-Memorial Day onslaught of graphic tees, Forever 21 is upping the style ante with its Artist Series, Teen Vogue notes. Billed as "an iconic capsule collection uniting fashion and street art," the range features prints by the late Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Here's a primer: Both gentlemen gained followings in the '80s after painting their work on public spaces. That "Crack Is Wack" mural in Harlem? Haring. Those multiple-choice graffiti questions signed "SAMO" that once decorated Soho? Basquiat. The now-signature figures associated with these artists — dancing people and a scribbled crown, respectively — splash across Forever 21's line of crop tops, mesh tanks, bodysuits, and muscle tees. All items in the series are priced from $6.80 to $15.80.
Teen Vogue writes, "When you're styling, turn to standby denim cut-offs and miniskirts to let these attention-getting pieces do the talking." Click through to view more of the shirts in the collection, and get ready to wear your art on your sleeve chest. (Teen Vogue)
