No matter how streamlined and design-conscious appliances are, they're rarely the prettiest things in the room. Short of replacing your refrigerator, stove, and sink with a delivery-only home-dining policy, there are few solutions that both work and look good. Until now, of course. Architecture firm i29 designed an airy, white and black room that hides the necessities behind expansive white panels, and runs the water, cooling, and electrical cords inside a black sink island. It's a streamlined wonder if we ever saw one. The space seamlessly flows into the living room — click over to Design Milk to see it in its entirety. Just be warned: You might be a bit resentful the next time you need to heat up leftovers.
