Scandal? What Scandal?
New Jersey Governor Chris Christie visited The Tonight Show last night, marking his first talk-show appearance since Bridgegate broke last fall. "You had a little scandal happen," Fallon joked, marking the only time the host brought up the touchy subject.
Instead, Christie and Fallon preferred to focus on far lighter fare. Case and point: "The Evolution of Dad Dancing," the long-awaited follow-up to Michelle Obama's "Evolution of Mom Dancing." The sketch featured Fallon and a noticeably trimmer Christie in full-on nerdy dad garb. One gets the impression that Christie brought his outfit from home, but we digress.

The NJ governor has four children of his own, which explains why he looked so comfortable getting down to "Don't Make Me Turn This Car Around," "The Passionate Elliptical," and, of course, the "This Bridge is Closed." A little humility and humor will serve Christie well if he decides to embark on the much-discussed presidential run in 2016.
"Do you think you could beat her?" Fallon asked, in reference to Christie's potential White House rival Hillary Clinton.
"You bet," Christie answered.
"In a dance off," Fallon shot back.
"That’s what I was talking about. What were you talking about?" Christie added.
Oh, you two.
