Jennifer Connelly’s Labyrinth Audition Tape Is Pure, Glittery Gold

Every now and then, a video surfaces online that you didn't know you needed. Most of the time it's cat-related (not complaining). Sometimes it's Game of Thrones-related (also, not complaining). And, sometimes, it's a complete and total gem of a find like this here audition tape of Jennifer Connelly.
Now, this video of Connelly auditioning for Labyrinth has been comfortably living on YouTube for a little more three years, but Vanity Fair brought it to our attention over the weekend. And, thank them digi-gods it did. Teenaged Connelly was Jim Henson's ideal Sarah from the get-go. It's a wonder why he was even considering Helena Bonham Carter, Sarah Jessica Parker, or Laura Dern for the part. Connelly pantomimes with little goblins so well you forget they're make-believe. The power of voodoo was strong with this one. (Huffington Post)
