When it comes to plot details, very little is known about Disney's upcoming Star Wars sequel. Director J.J. Abrams is notorious for his ultra-secretive sets, so it's important to greet any new rumor with a little bit of skepticism. That being said, the latest whisper from London is pretty exciting,
According to The Sun, Carrie Fisher's daughter, Billie Lourd, has been cast in Star Wars: Episode VII. We've known for some time that Fisher is reprising her iconic role as Princess Leia, and according to the unnamed source, Abrams is tapping Fisher's 21-year-old daughter to play a younger version of her mother's character. That means we can likely expect flashbacks in some capacity.
Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill are also reprising their original roles for the film, which could mean good news for their children as well. Unfortunately for Darth Vader's son, his father will not appear in the movie. It looks like Darth Jr. will be stuck at Denny's all summer.
The new Star Wars hits theaters in December 2015. (The Mirror)
