Lily Allen’s Sunset Hair Is All The Beautiful Things

Give us a celebrity who's embraced the colorful-hair trend, and we'll gush for hours. But, give us a celebrity who's dyed her tresses multiple shades of awesome, and we'll never stop expressing our undying devotion. Lily Allen and her sunset strands at the Serpentine Summer Party in London had the entire beauty department oohing and aaahing in appreciation.

Allen's hair is now purple at the roots but gorgeously fades down to a bright red-orange — just like a sunset. In truth, we were pretty stunned when we saw her mane, seeing as how one of us tried this exact color combination, albeit a bit more subtly, just a week ago.

Overall, though, the singer took her color play to another level. Her eyes were lined in seafoam green and turquoise sparkles, making the entire look seem like an ode to the sunset over the ocean. This, right here, is summer personified.

Regardless of where she pulls her influence from (ahem), Lily's colorful coiff is one of our favorites. And, since she's a natural brunette, we're stoked to see how her brown strands mingle with the hues once they grow out. Consider us officially on Lily Allen Hair Watch.
