Victoria’s Secret Angel Karlie Kloss regularly trades in her lingerie for a pair of sweat-wicking shorts. Case in point: her Instagram picture from this morning’s workout with Nike.
In an exclusive new interview with T Magazine, 21-year-old Kloss shares that she exercises “to feel strong and challenge my body to reach new goals. Movement feeds my mind and gives me energy throughout the day.” She goes on to note that staying active provides her with the opportunity to escape from the daily grind. This refreshingly balanced outlook keeps the classically trained ballerina fit and happy.

Kloss, who shares her workout routine with T, sounds like our fitness soul sister. She regularly attends Pilates classes, SoulCycle workouts, and (of course) does ballet. To stay fit on the road, Kloss, who stars in Nike's new campaign, relies on the Nike Training Club app: “It’s convenient and easy to use — a great substitute for a personal trainer,” she says. (We happen to be huge fan of the workouts on the app as well.) In other healthy-girl news, Kloss recently collaborated with Momofuku Milk Bar to create a wholesome, sweet treat that’s dairy-free, wheat-free, and sweetened with agave; a portion of its proceeds are donated to help provide meals for those in need.

Kloss' workout routine includes regular mat-based workouts such as yoga and Pilates. "Pilates relies on isolated, controlled movement and has allowed me to build up my core and strengthen my legs and arms," she tells T.

Running is another perfect on-the-go workout. Just pack your sneakers and use the jog as an opportunity to explore a new city.
