Sometimes, you get an insatiable ice cream craving at 10 p.m. but are too deep into a 30 Rock marathon to want to dress up and go out to the nearest Meatball Shop. But, the Meatballers understand this dilemma. So, they've made your laziest dreams come true. The newest location on the Upper West Side, which opens today, features a walk-up window, so you don't even have to step inside the restaurant (and weave through the inevitable crowds) to get your fix. You can enjoy the best ice cream sandwiches in the city from the comfort of your couch, because sometimes that's where you belong.
This is the chain's first-ever ice cream cart, serving up seasonal combinations of its signature ice cream sandwiches. The cart operates from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., then reopens at 10:00 p.m. until closing, so your late-night-snack options just got a whole lot more interesting. And, if you needed more incentive to grab a sweet treat from the cart, the Meatballers have hidden one golden ticket in every 100 ice cream sandwiches. Find one and you'll take home TMS merch. But, even if you don't, the ice cream sandwiches are still one hell of a reward.
