ET reports Broadway legend Elaine Stritch passed away Thursday morning at the age of 89.
Longtime fans know Stritch for her classic roles on stage — including Bus Stop, Sail Away, and Company — as well as her appearances in the Woody Allen films September and Small Time Crooks.
She also appeared on 30 Rock as Colleen Donaghy, Jack Donaghy's fiesty mother. Stritch was nominated for an Oustanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series Primetime Emmy for this role. In 1993, she won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her role on Law & Order.
Most recently, Chiemi Karasawa created a documentary about Stritch titled Shoot Me, a hilarious and touching film about the comedian's incredible life.
