Here’s Your Chance To Make The Nail Polish Of Your Dreams

Our deep, passionate, borderline-obsessive love of nail brand Rescue Beauty Lounge is no secret. We pretty much worship at the altar of master polish mixologist Ji Baek; the colors she dreams up and the way she brings them to life are downright transcendental. One more reason to love Baek? She's not one to hog the spotlight, as evidenced by her wildly popular Fan Collection.

Originally conceived four years ago, the Fan Collection was Baek's way of both giving back and tapping in to her devoted band of polish addicts, lovingly nicknamed ReBeLs. Rescue Beauty Lounge held an open call for fans to send in submissions for the colors they most wanted to see in lacquer form. Baek then selected her favorites and worked with the fan who submitted it to create and produce the polish to be sold on the site. Previous collections have given birth to shades like Aqua Lily, which has a devoted following among lacquer connoisseurs.

Does this all sound like an amazing opportunity to you? Well, you're in luck because Baek just announced that she's at it again for the Fan Collection 3.0. RBL will be accepting open submissions for a 48-hour period, starting on Friday, July 25, at 12 p.m. EST. To submit, simply create a Pinterest board (or collage) full of images inspired by the color you wish to produce, and send it to thefancollection3@rescuebeauty.com. Submissions will only be accepted starting at noon on July 25 and ending at noon EST on July 27.

Baek will pick 14 finalists, and those 14 submission boards will be put up to a public vote. The six most popular shades will be turned into polishes by Baek, who will work with each fan to create the color of their dreams. Those six hues will make up the Fan Collection 3.0 and will be sold on Rescue Beauty Lounge as a limited-edition range.
