Quentin Tarantino is not a fan of having his projects leaked. So much so that after Gawker leaked the screenplay for his newest movie back in January, the director sued the company. He also claimed that would not be making the flick — dubbed The Hateful Eight — due to the violation of trust. “I give it out to six people," he said earlier this year. "And if I can’t trust them to that degree, then I have no desire to make it.” However, after cooling off over the last several months, he's now decided against scrapping the film (phew!).
Entertainment Weekly reports that, back in April, he said he was working on a new draft of the screenplay. And, just yesterday, he confirmed at a Comic-Con panel that he is indeed moving forward with the film, which will be a "post-Civil War Western." Praise the movie gods! We won't have to wait too long to get our Tarantino fix. (Entertainment Weekly)
