Scarlett Johansson Makes The Mom Bob Sexy

Ah, the mom haircut. It's a plunge plenty of new mamas tend to take. But, we think it's safe to say that none of them pull it off as well as one Scarlett Johansson. She was spotted out and about around NYC sporting a seriously cropped 'do, seamlessly proving that the notorious "mom cut" can be super sexy.

We've gotten so used to seeing ScarJo with long, bombshell waves that her crop was more than a little jarring. It's much shorter than the chin-length crop that's been sweeping Hollywood lately, but it's not quite a pixie. Even so, Scarlett managed to completely ace this low-maintenance cut. Shots of the back of her head show that it's actually shaved, which will come in handy once it's time for her to start growing her mane back out.

According to Anh Co Tran, who cut Coco Rocha's previous pixie, the best way to snip a shorter style is to keep the back short and just trim at the front and sides. That way, the 'do will eventually grow out into a sexy, asymmetrical bob, giving ScarJo one less thing to worry about once her little bundle of joy arrives.
