Sadly, the biggest story coming out of Lollapalooza has little to do with music.
Blood Orange singer Dev Hynes took to Twitter to report that he and girlfriend Samantha Urbani were assaulted by three security guards after their set yesterday afternoon.
"They grabbed her [and] I asked what they were doing and they grabbed my neck and threw me to the ground, then two others joined in on me," Hynes wrote, adding that the couple intended to press charges.
As Hynes noted, the incident is ironic given that both he and Urbani spoke out against police brutality during the Blood Orange set. Both wore custom shirts marked in support of their cause.

According to updates posted on Hynes' Twitter feed, Lollapalooza has been removing comments about the incident from their Facebook page. He also says that one of the security guards is claiming that Hynes assaulted him.
"We are both very shaken and I am pretty bruised up," the singer wrote. "But blessed to be alive in this world. Others aren't as lucky." (Billboard)
