If we are to believe what the Internet says, Selena Gomez's life of late has been crammed packed with supermodel romps, #inspotattoos, a new beau, and an ex-boyfriend acting all territorial over Gomez taking cigarette breaks with elves.
If we're to believe Rotten Tomatoes, Gomez's acting career isn't making headlines for the right reasons, either. So, like Beyoncé, Gomez took to social media to remind her followers and curious clickers alike that all is well in her life.
A short video appeared on her Instagram account over the weekend that finds the singer/actress performing one of her first hit singles, "Who Says." Since this is a throwback clip, Gomez (or her Insta-assistant) put it through a crackly, sepia-tone filter for a slick vintage effect.

Gomez sub-tweeted her haters with this one, folks. She is not going to let the world get her down. Who says her new movie deserves a 0% from the critics? Who says she can't smoke a cigarette with Orlando Bloom? (Okay, well, the surgeon general and countless parents whose kids look up to her might, but that's none of our business.) You keep doing you, Selena. You've got a beautiful voice, girl. (Teen Vogue)
