For those of you ready to let George Michael, Buster, and Tobias ride off into the sunset, not so fast. According to Netflix's content guru Ted Sarandos, a fifth season of Bluth family exploits is pretty much a sure thing.
Speaking with USA Today, Sarandos said that the return of Arrested Development is "just a matter of when."
When Netflix decided to save the Jason Bateman-starring series in 2012, the cacophony of cheers from fans and critics was deafening. Unfortunately, the actual release of the show arrived with a whimper, as reviews were decidedly mixed.
Well, it turns out they've heard your gripes, and promise that the impending fifth season will be much more in line with seasons past.
Though Netflix has made a name for itself with its original programming thanks to shows like House of Cards and Orange is The New Black, it's also become a refuge for gone-but-not-forgotten fan favorites. Just last week the streaming giant debuted the fourth and final season of the AMC castoff The Killing.
Will this also be the last season of Arrested Development? Good God we hope not. (CNN)
