5 Months Away From Gwynnie & Chris Martin Is Already Fat

Chris Martin's been making so many headlines over his love life lately, it's easy to forget that, oh yeah — he's in a band. And, he's got a new video to remind us of his rock stardom.

Coldplay has released their video for "True Love," and it all centers around Martin — playing a janitor — wearing a massive, inflatable body suit. If you saw his ex Gwyneth Paltrow in Shallow Hal, multiply that by 10 and you get the idea. As Verbal Kent would say, he's "orca fat."

There's a plotline with a gorgeous, similarly inflated ballerina and lots of quirky moments. Martin's sense of humor has always been goofy, and there's no doubt that new flame Jennifer Lawrence has been rubbing off on him. Also, you need a new video to watch besides "Anaconda," because, well, things are starting to get weird.

So, what's the verdict? Is the video a Goop-style celebration of body diversity? Is Martin trying to give David Byrne a run for his money in the "big suit" department? Why didn't he just hire actors who were actually big-boned? Is being fat meant to be funny? What does it all mean?
