Not wearing pants in public can be awkward to say the least. (Trust us, we've tried it. Kidding! Or, are we?) But, Michael Kors' spring '15 has you covered in just the right way. His collection premiered on the runway yesterday, and our favorite styling trick from the show was this pairing of an extra-long button down shirt under a sheer, embellished skirt. You can still let your legs do the talking, but you won't feel too bare while you're at it.
The effect? A go-anywhere, conquer-the-world, badass look that's refreshingly preppy, too. In fact, the large flowers and yellow hue help keep this outfit feminine, while the daring texture and boxy top hold it down in the realm of fashion risk taking. And, that kind of juxtaposition of unlikely duos is what makes getting dressed so fun. We'll definitely want to try this layered look come spring, or, you know, as soon as we're able to collect a tulle skirt and long enough shirt. But, what say you?
