Raise your hand if you arrived at work this morning counting down the hours until you could return home and watch Gilmore Girls. (I assume everyone's hand is currently up in the air.) The CW favorite is finally — FINALLY — on Netflix, and every hour I sit at my desk is another hour of my life I will never get back, an hour that could be spent watching the Gilmores. A marathon viewing session is in order for all when we return home tonight (or ASAP if you're able to watch right now, in which case, jealous).
The classic tale of a teen-mom-turned-inn-owner and her smart best friend/daughter premiered on October 5, 2000. During its seven-year run, we celebrated the Gilmores' triumphs, mourned their break-ups, and enjoyed every love/hate squabble Lorelai had with Luke. We were devastated when it went off the air, but almost every member of the cast went on to even greater career opportunities.
Us Weekly has helpfully compiled a "Where Are They Now" retrospective of the Gilmore Girls cast. So, chug your coffee (coffee coffee), order some burgers and fries from Luke's, put on your Yale T-shirt, and click on through while you start binge-watching. And, always remember: If you're out on the road, feeling lonely and so cold... (Us Weekly)
