It may be more traditional to dye your locks darker for fall, but Shailene Woodley, never one to follow the crowd, decided to flout convention and go lighter — way lighter. Yesterday, she was spotted front-row at Miu Miu during Paris Fashion Week with a borderline platinum, highlighted 'do.
While The Fault in Our Stars actress first began her blonde transition a couple of months back, her new, pseudo-pompadour style is almost reminiscent of Jennifer Lawrence's hair circa The Hunger Games premiere almost a year ago.

Woodley joins the ever-growing list of celebrities lightening up their tresses. But, our favorite part of the look is the fact that she left some roots showing. Normally, that would have been the ultimate beauty faux pas, but here, they're cool, chic — and completely intentional. They lend an edge to the pretty color.
So, we must know: Is this a trend we'll see catching on? Or, should we leave blonde hair with dark roots back in the '80s where it belongs? And, Shailene, if this was in fact an accident, we'd gladly teach you how to reverse those two-toned strands.
