Six nominations? That's far from "Mediocre."
The nominations for the 2014 American Music Awards have been announced today, and it's the Wonder From Down Under, Ms. Iggy Azalea, on top. The Australian rapper scored the most nominations, with six nods. Slow claps.
Azalea will battle it out for Artist Of The Year, New Artist Of The Year, Single Of The Year, and Favorite Album (Rap/Hip-Hop). She's also been been nominated in the Favorite Female Artist (Pop/Rock) and Favorite Female Artist (Rap/Hip-Hop) categories. Which is it, people?
The fan-voted awards show will air on November 23. The "Fancy" rapper will face some stiff competition from Lorde, who bagged four nominations. Sam Smith and Meghan Trainor will also vie for the New Artist Of The Year title. Bit of a nail-biter, don't you think?
