Ever seen a status on Facebook and really wished you could comment with a chubby kitty on a bicycle? Us too. And, now you can.
Instead of enabling GIFs, Facebook has added what it's calling stickers (a.k.a. what the rest of the world calls emoji). And, they're pretty much the equivalent of dropping a Lisa Frank Trapper Keeper in your friends' comments. Did we mention they're also animated? YASSS.
You can pull up the famous-on-the-Internet Pusheen the Cat, HamCat, Sinister Oyster (a personal fave), a little girl called MiM Strikes Back, and a bunch of blown-up terms like YOLO (please use sarcastically). Find them right next to the camera icon that you use to find images when commenting on a status. Just click on the smile icon and a whole world of stickers opens up to you. You can find step-by-step instructions on Facebook's help section if you're having trouble.

According to VentureBeat, the stickers were first available in Japan, because of course they were. Currently, all the stickers appear to be free. But, we don't expect that to last long.
If you hate fun (because we must take Facebook seriously) and fear the emoji-plosion, you can disable stickers with instructions from TechCrunch.
Stickers on all the things!
