The dust has barely settled from last month's iPhone 6 release and the ensuing bendgate controversy, and Apple already has a pair of next-gen devices set to launch. The iPad Air 2 and the iPad mini 3 are expected to be unveiled to the world at an event tomorrow, but a devastating mistake by an anonymous source just knocked the wind out of Apple's sails.
Marc Gurman of 9to5mac noticed the brand new tablets included in iBooks' iPad User Guide for iOS8. For anyone expecting any major redesigns, today's leak will come as something of a disappointment. Both tablets will look virtually identical to their predecessors; that means that most of the new features will be of the internal variety. Expect things like touch ID sensors, stronger processors, sharper cameras, and updated software.
Along with the iPad unveiling, Apple is also expected to introduce the new iMac which is will include Retina display, and the latest version of the Mac operating system, OS X Yosemite.
As for whoever was responsible for today's leak, we wish you luck in your new job search. Unfortunately, the opportunity to play your former boss in a new movie was just snapped up. (TechCrunch)
