Thursday night belongs to Shonda Rhimes. With her wildly popular set of Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, and the latest How to Get Away With Murder, the writer has earned her own hashtag. And, #TGIT makes many wonder why they even bother with Friday-night television.
Still, as beloved and progressive as her writing is, one Twitter user decided to address Rhimes' use of "gay scenes" in her shows. When a viewer commented that Rhimes' scenes featuring gay people didn't add anything to the plot, she responded rather smartly.
. @Dabdelhakiem There are no GAY scenes. There are scenes with people in them.

But, anyone who's seen Dr. Bailey give a speech knows Rhimes really knows how to put someone in their place. So, you know she wasn't stopping there. She added an additional, Internet-winning comment.

. @Dabdelhakiem If u use the phrase "gay scenes", u are not only LATE to the party but also NOT INVITED to the party. Bye Felicia. #oneLOVE

Did Rhimes just drop a "Bye, Felicia?" Why, yes. Yes she did. (Zap2It)
