Its time to believe the hype. Interstellar has been screening at secret locations all across L.A. this week, and based on the reactions of some pretty famous people, Christopher Nolan has knocked it out of the park.
"I saw Interstellar last night, and I'm just now taking it all in. Holy moly. Amazing," gushed Patton Oswalt.
"Dazzled by the ambition and intelligence of Chris Nolan's Interstellar. Terrific performances, haunting imagery, WOW. See it in 70MM IMAX," tweeted The Incredibles director Brad Bird.
Up until now, Paramount has kept the highly anticipated Matthew McConaughey-led space saga tightly under wraps. After the success of Inception and The Dark Knight trilogy, Nolan has become Hollywood's premiere director. Add to his reputation an Oscar-winning cast, and the studio's decision to skip the festival circuit entirely, and what you're left with is a perfect storm of buzz and mystery that's become increasingly rare in the age of spoilers.

It would appear that in order to see the film before its November 5 release date, you either have to be super famous, super rich, or both. Paramount head Brad Grey recently held a private screening for the likes of Chris Rock, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Kevin Bacon, among others. Few have made their opinions on the film public, but Pete Wentz wrote, "Got to see Interstellar tonight, and the space shuttle endeavor [is] pretty epic. Haven't had time to process the film fully, but I find it amazing that that someone like Chris Nolan is making insane and amazing imaginative films that push the envelope of pop culture."
If Pete Wentz is all in on Interstellar then, by golly, so are we. (Vulture)
