You may not know what you're doing this weekend, but we know where you'll be in summer 2016: London's Wembley Stadium.
Why, you ask? Because that's where the theatrical version of The Hunger Games will be making its debut. The franchise is set to be adapted into a stage show thanks to a new partnership between Lionsgate and Imagine Nation. Think of it as Disney On Ice, only with no ice — and more casualties.
Award-winning Broadway producer Robin de Levita will be helming the show, which is one of many post-Mockingjay projects on tap to keep writer Suzanne Collins' work alive. A Hunger Games-themed amusement park is also reportedly in the works.

“Robin de Levita and the entire production team are the perfect partners for extending The Hunger Games franchise into a live theatrical experience,” Lionsgate Chief Marketing Officer Tim Palen said in a press statement. “Their creative genius, combined with world-class production values and state-of-the-art technology, will provide a uniquely immersive experience for fans around the world.”
