There's an odd sense of comfort that comes with watching completely mindless viral videos like this chuckling owl. Like when you're gazing at the works of Mondrian and Malevich, you begrudgingly think, "I could've made this." Like the works of Mondrian and Malevich, you didn't. But, there's a comfort in knowing that someone, somewhere had the simple idea to put a laugh track over a random owl video — and the time, energy, and willpower to execute it.
The video below is a bit alarming, though. Owls are kind of creepy, and this owl is especially eerie without the laugh track. (It looks a bit stoned, if you ask us.) Add the giggle, and this bird goes from creep to Hey Arnold! Brainy creep real quick. All we have to say is, "Nope." Or, as this cat likes to say, "No, no, no, no, no, no!"
