Jennifer Lawrence Is Not Down With Social Media

Last night marked the global premiere of Mockingjay - Part 1 in London, so expect The Hunger Games to start blowing up your feed...NOW.
One person who won't have that problem is Katniss herself, Jennifer Lawrence. This morning the 24-year-old actress told U.K. radio host Nick Grimshaw that she has no time for the Internet. And, given that whole nude photo hacking scandal, you can't really blame her.
"I cannot really keep up with emails so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me," Lawrence told Grimshaw during the Radio 1 Breakfast Show. "I don't really understand what it is, it's like this weird enigma that people talk about. It's fine, I respect that, but no, I'll never get Twitter."

That goes for all of social media, too.
"If you ever see a Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter that says it's me, it most certainly is not me," she said.
The Serena star also made reference to the recent hacking scandal.
"Because the internet has scorned me so much, I feel like it's that girl in high school that I'm like 'Oh you want to talk about her? Yeah I'll do that,'" she joked. "Take my hoops off, I'm ready to go."
We'd totally back her in that fight. In other premiere news, the Oscar winner had nothing but praise for costars Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. Apparently the duo have been dubbed "my kittens" and "my angels." Damn. Now we wish she did have a Twitter account. (BBC)
