Jennifer Lawrence Makes Hip Pads A Thing

Sure, we were enamored with Jennifer Lawrence's stellar beauty (and earcuff) game at last night's Mockingjay premiere. But, for us, what she's got going on below the shoulders is even more fascinating.
Lawrence chose a tea-length Christian Dior Couture gown that's pretty traditional from the waist up, with its softly V-shaped neckline and structured bodice. But, scroll down a bit, and all you see is lady lumps, 18th-century style.
The dress' dramatically flared peplum may not exactly reach Marie Antoinette proportions. But, it's as close as we've ever come to wondering if a twentysomething Hollywood star were wearing panniers.
So, what say you? Is Jennifer Lawrence taking a brave stand and declaring that it's time for the fashion world to embrace Victorian-era hips? Or, is she just sneakily trying to create more room for her beloved red-carpet snacks?
