When it comes to talking about her pop star counterparts, Demi Lovato isn't one to hold back. So, when she was asked about whether she and Miley Cyrus were still friends (during an appearance on Boston's The TJ Show), Lovato didn't shy away from the question.
"Umm, yeah…that," she said awkwardly. "We're like, acquaintances." Lovato went on to say that the former Disney Channel stars grew apart because that's just life taking its natural course.
"People change," Lovato said. "And, you know, I don't have anything in common with her anymore, and I wish her all the best."

Perhaps the 22-year-old pop star was referring to their different approaches to fame. Since leaving the Mouse House behind, both Cyrus and Lovato have gone on to mega-successful singing careers, but have done it in very different ways. While Cyrus seems to be constantly seeking fame, Lovato's approach to stardom is far more low-key.
Apparently giving more thought to what she meant after the interview ended, Lovato took to social media to add some color to her comments.
"I feel like I don't fit in with Hollyweird at all," she tweeted. "I'm actually kind of proud/happy about that." (Us Weekly)
