This Is How Victoria Beckham “Repeats” An Outfit

When we really think about it, we can admit it's kind of silly to make a fuss when a celebrity repeats an outfit. It’s something we do all the time, without any more than a high-five in response. But, considering the access most high-profile celebs have when it comes to designer clothing, especially for well-documented red carpet events, it says something about an outfit when they deem it worth a public repeat. And, in her own Posh way, Victoria Beckham pulled one off this weekend.
Beckham attended the Evening Standard Theatre Awards in London in a strapless, black column-shaped dress that brought on a bit of déjà vu. Its silhouette is slim, but the layered top highlights the curves on her petite frame. And, its sleek, minimal, goddess-like design speaks perfectly to Victoria's aesthetic. But, the dress was also the darker doppelgänger to the look Becks wore the the Met Gala just last May.

While the design is, unsurprisingly, from her own namesake collection, we’re still pretty impressed that Victoria wore essentially the same look twice to two major events. It's proof that celebrities, like us, can find just one dress they love so much, they but it in every color, and wear it for every occasion possible. Of course, in this case, she just went and created the dress of her desires. Click through to see the style's first night out.
