It's been over a decade since MTV viewers got a glimpse of what life was (sort of) like for a gaggle of rich high schoolers in Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County, but old grudges die hard.
Laguna costar Kristin Cavallari divulged all sorts of details about life in the reality-show spotlight for an upcoming episode of Oprah: Where Are They Now?, and it doesn't sound like much fun. Although viewers ate up the drama between Lauren Conrad and Cavallari, especially over their respective relationships with Stephen Colletti, it was no day at the beach from her point of view.

According to Cavallari, the MTV producers were behind the love triangle. She said: "My boyfriend at the time, the producers would have him go and take out Lauren Conrad — take her to dinner, bring her flowers — which never would have happened if it wasn't for the show and for MTV."
And then, there was the editing. "I cried for hours and hours after I saw the first episode," Cavallari confessed, later adding, "I still, to this day, think you should be 18 to do a reality show, only because of my experience."
Don't be too bummed for her, though. After a stint on The Hills, a few acting gigs, and a quick trip to Dancing with the Stars, she married Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler. Way better than Celebrity Wife Swap, right?
Oprah: Where Are They Now? airs Dec. 7 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on OWN. (PopSugar)
