Sam Smith’s New Song Wishes You A Sorrowful Little Christmas

Nothing screams "Christmas!" more than a downtempo version of your favorite holiday song. After all, the holly jolly merriment is just an Illuminati scheme to feed the capitalist system. British crooner Sam Smith knows this and decided to relay the info via a timeless Christmas carol.
Smith's moody version of "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" comes to us just as gift-giving crunch time begins. (We are but a mere 15 days away from Christmas morning, after all. Anxious yet?)
Okay, so the original isn't the liveliest of carols in the Christmas canon to begin with, but this is one cheer-sucker of a cover. Perhaps it's just because it's by Sam Smith — and Sam Smith has made a name off of heartbreak. Who knows why, really? It's here now and we have to make do because hey, shopping for others is stressful. Don't let brands try and tell you otherwise. And, if they do, play this song to keep your reality in check. Misery loves company.
