Julianne Moore Will Floor You In The Still Alice Trailer

The nominations for Julianne Moore's performance in Still Alice are pouring in and now we know why.
In the film, out now in NYC and L.A. and everywhere on January 16, Moore plays a brilliant linguistics professor whose life slowly begins to slip away when she's diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. Moore has been earning raves since the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, with some observers calling it the greatest performance of her career.
Think about that for a second. This is Julianne Moore we're talking about — the same woman who starred in Boogie Nights, The Big Lebowski, Magnolia, and, well, you get the picture. We actually had the chance to speak to the actress about her work in the film, which involved getting to know women who have struggled with this terrible disease. Check back next week for that interview.
Until then, watch Moore try to hang on to her life and family (played by Alec Baldwin, Kristen Stewart and Kate Bosworth) in the heartbreaking trailer below. Kleenex recommended.
